And it’s going to get hotter before it starts cooling down. It’s expected to get to 33°C here.
Seems like another heat record gets broken every year now.
And the people saying that this is all fine because we should just enjoy the sun will be arriving in 3, 2, …

This really should be bigger news. It feels like everyone gave up on climate change right as we started feeling its effects. Sometimes I think the human race deserves whatever happens as a result of this.
If we keep going, by the the universal park is open i won’t need to keep going to florida for theme parks and banging weather.
So i’ll use less emissions on transatlantic flights for me and the family and thats good for the environment
Why are us rational people who have shouted about this being a problem every year get drowned out by lunatics or misinformation wielding sun worshipers hell bent on burning themselves in record breaking temperatures.
Why is it always Heathrow that’s the hottest place?
Is it purely because of all the tarmac and concrete in one place?

I’ll normally sit outside all day in the shade when it’s warm, but, I’ve come in now, too much for me
I appreciate my thermometers aren’t calibrated etc, but my car, my garden thermometer and one in the house that I took outside are all hitting 34 in Leeds. Is it a specific measuring point that determines “hottest” factoring in wind and sunlight etc, or is it just “that’s the one we use?”
People will complain about this and then drive their car 5 minutes to the shop.

Im a Brit living in the Middle East and I’ve got to admit 32°C back in Blighty feels 10x worse than 50°c where I am. The UK just isn’t built for the heat
