    1. Argyle St cutting? I went by it last year and spent probably 10-15 mins just in amazement. Was a lot of animals and stuff. Very cute.

This just looks like itโ€™d give me a seizure. So yeah I might go check it out!

    2. Somehow my 18 month old stayed asleep while we walked through this tunnel lol

    3. The cutting was the best I thought. Opera House is good and those little pink jumping lights at Bangaroo also.

This show was created by NeonDynamo and soundtrack composited by Heckler Sound. I was lucky to be able to program the lasers for the show – it’s definitely a standout show and worth the visit, as are all the other installations at Vivid.

Amongst the negativity on the sub it’s important to remember that Vivid provides a livelihood for thousands of people in the production industry who might otherwise struggle for work in the quieter winter months, security staff, cleaners, caterers etc not withstanding. That doesn’t include knock on effects to the hospitality and retail sector that sees a massive boost in foot traffic by giving people a reason to come to the city during the wet and cold. Plus, it’s free ๐Ÿ™‚ Even if you think the installations are lacking, or have lost lustre over the years, the vehement Vivid avoiders fail to see the thousands of attendees who get to enjoy the atmosphere of a world class festival, have an excuse to catch up with friends, and enjoy a walk in our beautiful city transformed by the hard work of thousands of crew. Don’t even get me started on the absolutely banging music/arts/food program Vivid has grown over the years!
