They are called ”villasukat”, or ”wool socks”. The patterns themselves don’t have a widespread names as I can tell.

    2. Villasukat. Woolen socks. When I was a kid at least, we were all made to learn how to knit these in school.

    3. They are called “villasukka” in Finnish, due to them being just socks made of wool.

Everyone has those here. I wear them every chance I get, so from November to April usually. Indoors and when outside. I love villasukat

“Hipulit” in Pirkanmaa, have heard also “tillukkaat” somewhere. “Rasat” is used for both socks and gloves.

So much everyday life thing here in finland that I found 3 songs about them in spotify:
      Villasukka-rock (woolly sock -rock)
Minun ystäväni on kuin villasukka – (my friend is like woolly sock)
      …rikkinäinen villasukka (broken woolly sock)

Tillukkaat is what my granny said. Other granny said töppöset. I often call them villikset.
