According to the first-trial judgment (lay judge trial), former hospital employee Tomoya Yanagimoto (30) sexually abused a total of 10 elementary school girls between 2016 and 2022 (recognized charges: rape causing injury, forcible sexual intercourse causing injury, forcible sexual intercourse, etc.).

Yanagimoto stalked the victims’ activities in advance and recorded details such as family presence/absence on his smartphone.
He committed the crimes by pushing in behind the girls the moment they unlocked their homes, or by luring them to deserted areas in apartment complexes. In many cases, he showed them a cutter knife and threatened them with statements such as “I’ll kill you if you cry” or “Your family will be killed too.”

Additionally, according to statements by the victims’ attorneys in the first trial, there were instances where he tried to coax the girls by saying things like, “If you do what I say, I’ll give you money. Is 500 yen okay?” offering “pocket money.”

Yeah, well, rot in prison for the rest of your life. I hope it will be even more miserable the guy complains about.

The judge should increase his sentence then give him a 500 yen coin as a small symbolic payback
