Not sure if this is a common occurrence, but yesterday my green bin was eaten by the garbage truck.

Have filled out an online form with BCC for a lost/stolen bin (no option for devoured), but yet to receive any acknowledgment.

When I was a kid, the little old lady who lived 2 houses up only had the small wheelie bins.

These got devoured regularly! Like I’m talking between the black and the yellow bins it was multiple a year.

    2. I have never had this happen but was suprised when i upgraded my bins how quick they were to send replacements. So hopefully you get yours soon.

Can’t contaminate your green waste with plastic mate, here’s an infringement notice 💸

The hungry garbage truck ambled along. He was SO hungry! Even though he had been eating all morning!

“I deserve a little treat for working so hard and being so hungry!” Said the garbage truck. So as he lifted Outrageous Act’s big bin, he ate it too! “Yum!” Said the garbage truck as it rumbled away.

“Fuck!” Said the man driving the garbage truck.

This happens a fair bit. Just go to the bcc website and request a replacement, normally occurs within 48h

Your new one will just show up on your curb, hopefully before your next bin day. Pretty sure that’s what happened to me when mine floated off in the floods a few years back.

LMAO 🤣 at least you can give the video to the police for their investigations. I hope they solve this crime soon and you get your bin back 😂

This made me chuckle on the train. I just added my own num num num sound effect to make it sound like the truck was just having his breakfast of one wheelie bin a day.

My bin has been stollen by my crackhead neighbours twice and the council have always been happy to give me a new one usually find it waiting on the nature strip within a week.

It’s not common, but it happens enough that they know about it. You’ll have a new one dropped off, most likely before next green bin day but sometimes it takes a few weeks.
