Little by little, I look at new job ads and if I am interested, I send my application. Recently, an advertisement was shared on LinkedIn that they are looking for a senior tech person in a company in Lithuania, but the selection is being conducted by a small recruitment agency in the UK. I didn’t pay too much attention to the agency, at first glance it looked quite legit, the contact person I have in common with on LinkedIn is indicated. Former colleagues.
I get a call today. The number is UK, we received the type and read your application. A suspicious manner and tone of communication immediately appeared. Totally unprofessional. The woman didn’t introduce herself, didn’t say anything about the company she was looking for, nothing about the tech role, and immediately started asking questions about my notice period and desired salary. I said that I will not answer such questions because I have 0 info about the company and I will provide the numbers when I know the responsibilities, company name and other basic info. The company was not specified in the ad, only "our client". He said he would send a calendar invite to meet to talk online, of course he didn’t send anything.
As of today, the ad that I responded to a few days ago has already been removed and I no longer see any other ads there. Now I opened to look more about the company, the further it goes, the more it seems like a scam. So Avatar International SA, as I understand it, is registered somewhere in Africa and I also see that it doesn’t even have a normal website. He posts on LinkedIn, but he has very few followers, usually normal recruitment agencies have thousands of followers, but here there are very few. If you are interested in this https://www.linkedin.com/company/avatar-international-sa/ Be careful with them, don’t get caught. And don’t make a mistake like me, if you apply through an agency, before sending it, check where to register, what they post, what patterns, because it is possible that they collect and then sell the data.
Recruitment agency scam'as?

Klounada kazkokia. Darbas vardan darbo, jokio adekvataus planavimo ar isankstinio ispejimo.
Su AccusourceHR nauja Lietuvos imone irgi nerekomenduociau turet reikalu.
