      Iran in blue was because Afghan Dari population fleeing from Taliban regime in number of million.

      Iran is actually one of a few countries in Aisa that is actively taking refugees.

      There are roughly 1.47 million Irish-born emigrants. Roughly 1.2 million of Ireland’s population are immigrants. So, Ireland should really be coloured red in this map.

      What is the time frame here?

      Millions emigrated from Ireland inĀ  1800’s

      Finland similarly had large emigration to America and Sweden during 1900’s.

      Immigration over the last 100 yeras hasn’t certainly been nowhere near that level.
