“The first information reached the police from the Jakob Westholm Gymnasium through the alarm center at around 09:35. We immediately started analyzing the e-mail to see if it was intimidation or a serious plan. We have now determined that it is a mass e-mail with the aim of scaring people. We see common features with the waves of bomb threats that have been repeatedly sent to schools in the last couple of years,” he explained.

Pärila noted that the police have already sent instructions for behavior to schools and kindergartens.
