      The old German border is actually still somewhat visible. The former German territories are less densely populated.

      I’m aware of Warsaw and Gdansk (the former Danzig) but what’s up with that dense-looking southern area?

      I hear about the east-west divide but this makes it look like a south-north (or maybe just south-nonsouth) divide should be more important.

      Jokes aside how much has the Silesian language influenced Polish seeing that most of Poland’s major cities are in Silesia.

      The part that belonged to Germany in 1930 is shown, on average, as darker and bluer than the rest of Poland
