      It’s upside down, small word goes first. Says “lord, pardon us” or “lord, have mercy on us”, depending on how you wanna understand it.

    2. The photo is upside down. But if you rotate it, it reads something along the lines of ‘God have mercy on us’, or ‘God deliver us’.

      You’ll meet this inscription pretty often – “lord (god) have mercy on us” – shows you remain under humility of the god and live by his grace

    4. It’s a form of elvish I cannot read.

      There are few who can.

      Flipping it right side up would make it Georgian though, and then it says the Georgian version of Lord, have mercy on our souls.
