Phew, those Metro Tunnel escalators sure are steep! I suggest we install some “anti vertigo” photo cubes like those at Parliament station, but what to put on them? (for funsies)
This is probably one of the worst places in Melbourne to start tripping balls

How about some top-down views of Victorian landscapes, photographed from really really high up?

Make the space available for local artists to display/advertise their work.
Or optical illusions that shift as you move, just to maximise the vertigo

The exact pic you posted but in a constant looping gif.
This view would be super trippy if those white walls were mirrors

You should see these escalators during peak time… it’s insane. People are running down as if they’re about to miss the last train of the night. I used to finish work at 5pm on the dot every day and I’d often see the same people pushing past me each night. Every night I saw this disabled guy with a walking stick racing down past me on right side – he was going reasonably fast, but it wasn’t fast enough for this one guy who tried to push past him one night. It was lucky the disabled guy didn’t fall, but it certainly wasn’t unusual to see this.

Perfect place to show the train schedules. Have it alternate between platforms every 8 seconds or so to make it inconvenient and difficult to read.
