      I don’t think I’ve ever hated an architectural style more than parametricism.

      It’s such a soulless, rootless style of architecture. No local identity, no connection to the culture, no connection to the history of the place it’s built in. Just another white-and-gray blob that could be dropped into literally any city on Earth and look exactly the same.

      I get that it’s a contemporary art museum, but does everything contemporary have to look so aggressively sterile and brutal? Why does everything have to be white, gray, industrial, and lifeless?

      And before anyone says that’s the point, no, it doesn’t have to be. We can build modern buildings that are beautiful. We can build modern buildings that reflect local culture. We don’t have to keep filling our cities with giant white concrete blobs.
