    1. What a stupid shitpost on my more serious map sub

How tf are you going to teleport from main russia into kaliningrad without crossing any borsers? And if flying/using a boat from mainland France to French Guiana counts into this meme, you could fly/swim directly from Korea into Brazil

I can do it in 2 steps
      1. Obtain boat (preferably diesel powered)
      2. To Brazil! (use GPS so you don’t get lost)

      >!This is satire.!<

      >!Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down!<

    3. I feel like the step between 1 and 2 and between 4 and 5 is a bit cheating

    4. Why can’t you just go NK -> Brazil directly? Afterall you can cross as many oceans as you want.

Pro Tip: If you want come from Germany to France faster, use Belgium

    6. You can also get from Norway to the US in two easy steps. Step 1: cross the border from Norway to Russia. Step 2: cross the border from Russia to the US. (The water’s cold up there, I recommend a boat.)

Actually, with schengen area you cross in in germany and cross out in brazil

Everybody knows you can’t go from Germany to France directly. You need to take a detour through Belgium.

Because I don’t think it’s obvious, the joke here comes from the reality of non-contiguous territories. Russia has a chunk of land on the Baltic Sea, disconnected from the rest of of the country, which borders Poland. And French Guiana, which borders Brazil, is a French Overseas Territory.

Hence, if you crossed the (relatively tiny) border between North Korea and Russia, then made it all the way to Kaliningrad, then cross into Poland, you technically only went through one country to get there (though you’d either need to cross over or sail around other countries on your route). Similarly if you travelled from France to French Guiana, you’ve crossed the entire Atlantic, but you’re technically still in French territory.

The notion is fairly trivial, of course. Since you’re crossing oceans, you could just sail directly from North Korea to Brazil and not cross any land borders. But if you’re talking specifically about chaining together land borders, it’s technically correct.
