Hello everyone,
First of all: This post has been approved by the [r/Luxembourg](r/Luxembourg) moderation team.
As part of the INR (InterNova Rail) project, we are currently assessing the demand for a potential future direct transport connection between the Saarland (Germany), Luxembourg, and Brussels (Belgium).
To achieve this, we have created a short, anonymous form aimed at all individuals from Luxembourg and the surrounding areas – regardless of whether you regularly travel by train, bus, or car.
Taking part takes only about 3 minutes. The goal is to gather a realistic picture of which train and transport connections are of interest to people in the region. The results will directly feed into our ongoing concept and feasibility assessment.
Thank you very much to everyone who takes the time to participate!
Best regards,
Joel Miguel Hild

Would be nice, will then be connected to the Hbf Saarburg or? If yes then I will probably use it (if the prices are not too high)
for Saarbrücken, are the trains going to go through wasserbillig or does that mean that one of the border cities will get a train connections? also a direct train to Brussels then to Amsterdam is definitely the way to go
The INR is up to strange things nowadays:
[Wikipedia on INR](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Normalized_Ratio)
What is INR? Neither the name of the person nor Initiative InterNational Rail return any meaningful results online.
The real opportunity in a Saarbrucken connection would not be the direct train line to Saarbrucken itself but the connection to a majority of big cities in Germany (Munich, Frankfurt, etc.). That would be huge.
