      Many fast food chains pay people to queue and build hype around their openings, or offer prizes for first x customers.

      So Popeyes in that States was actually very high quality when it started. Privately owned franchise. Real fresh chicken properly breaded and deep fried to order. Now A days… not so much.

      People are sad fucking losers for doing this. There’s nowhere on earth I’d queue more than an hour for.

      People are sheep in general, but there’s something here in Ireland that makes us particularly bad at bandwagon jumping. Highly susceptible suckers for a brand.

      Queuing 26 hours to get 1 free chicken burger a month for 50 years. Insanity. and honestly having had it abroad, popeyes is only alright, gave me fierce heartburn
