I love living in Mannheim. 😍
Germans like to shit on Mannheim because it’s industrial and there are many foreigners and people with Migrationshintergrund.
I wouldn’t go there as a tourist but life is actually decent there: very nice landscape with the Rhine and Odenwald nearby and beautiful towns and villages around like Heidelberg and Weinstraße. Cost of living is reasonable and the connectedness by train and plane (Frankfurt Airport is 35min by ICE) is top notch.
Destinations like Schwarzwald, France, Bodensee and the Alps are just couple hours away.
Interessant gemachte Bilder. Diese zeigen aber auch nur die vier Gebäude, die man in Mannheim ablichten kann.
Der Rest der Stadt ist an Hässlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. Na gut vielleicht durch Ludwigshafen direkt gegenüber.
Und ja, ich habe in der Stadt studiert und musste es mir antun…
