On June 8, a 20-year-old Chinese technical intern, Song Peilin, was arrested for attempted murder after attacking a female employee with an axe at a company in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka.
The attack occurred around 4:45 PM. Three people, including a 32-year-old woman, were injured and hospitalized, but all remain conscious and in stable condition.
Song, who had resigned from the company that same day, admitted to the charges, stating he intended to kill her due to "interpersonal troubles" with the employees.
