    1. It would be really interesting to see the second largest ethnic groups in each of these provinces. I know there’s more to China than just the Han-Chinese

    2. Han is a bit like arab, it’s a single ethnic group but it’s very very diverse internally, specially in the southern half

      Inner Mongolia is no longer majority Mongol. Everyone focuses on the Uyghurs and Tibetans but many forget the Mongols are treated like garbage by the government, too

      Are Tibetans more Indospheric? I heard they associate or are more influenced by Indian culture than mainstream Chinese 

    5. China are famously “anti colonialism” and “woe is me” when it comes to it. But what explains the western part of the country?
