A 16 year old girl working in a Hyogo disability support center was arrested for assault after intervening in an incident where one patient tried to bite another. Her arrest detention was extended twice until she developed an eating disorder and died. Her mother is suing for 100 million yen.

That’s horrific. The daughter was only doing her job and lost her life over it. If anything the daughter was very bravery working at the center at such a young age. I can’t imagine what the poor girl went through in administrative detention without charges. I hope the mother pursues this to the highest level and doesn’t stop until justice is brought to her daughter.
