    1. Republicans and Conservatives are physically incapable of accepting responsibility or criticism for anything at any time. It is always someone else’s fault, usually “the Left ™, or “Democrats “.

When have you ever seen them take responsibility?

Republicans have controlled Texas for 3 decades and still blame dems for problems there, you think they’re gonna stop after 2 years controlling the country?

Blame shifting is literally Republican 101 behavior. But in their defense most politicians do.

We need a complete overhaul of our government. With this many issues of corruption going unpunished, I’m having trouble thinking it’s a left or right issue… and not just late stage capitalism issue

    4. And if you can ever get them to admit something is bad, they’ll say “well why didn’t democrats stop it from happening??”

    5. I remember the government shutdown during his first term. In the run-up to it he called it his shutdown. Took credit. Said it was going to be a good thing. All his. He *wanted* the government to shut down.

The government shut down, Trump immediately did a 180 and blamed Democrats, and polls two days later showed more than half his voters were blaming the Democrats too.

Not only doesn’t reality matter to them, the fantasy they believed earlier in the week doesn’t either.

    6. I live in Florida. Florida has been under total Republican control for over 20 consecutive years. Republican politicians and Republican voters still blame democrats for every problem in this state.

When the whole Critical Race Theory garbage was the hot topic a couple years ago all we heard about at school board meetings was how liberals were indoctrinating our children somehow despite Education being directly controlled by the past 20 years of Republican Governors. If Critical Race Theory somehow worked it’s way into our schools then it did so under Republican leadership and under curriculum put forward by and pushed by our Republican Governors. But nope it’s somehow blue haired liberals fault. Mysteriously despite holding no political power statewide here they just somehow changed our curriculum and indoctrinated our kids.

It’s pathetic. Everything is always someone else’s fault. Republicans and their voters are a joke.

    7. Oh my, no. Taking personal accountability for their actions? That’s not fair! They can’t keep the cultists distracted that way.

You think the problems past administrations created can be fixed in one day or one year 😂😂😂

    9. It’s the real reason they focus so much on trans people and immigrants. It’s the playbook to stay in power when you don’t actually do anything to help the people. Give them an enemy to rally against. It’s why the Simpson’s episode where illegal immigrants are blamed for higher taxes is still relevant to this day as we as a society have still learned nothing.

It’s been 10 years, 4 months, 28 days since Obama was president and the GOP is still blaming him every time they fuck up.

MAGA and accountability? Never the two shall meet, they live in a post-truth and post-responsibility world, where reality is what they say it is and nothing is ever Trump’s fault, ever, even though they also say he’s in total control.

    13. WAIT! It’s Hilary’s fault then!!! It has to be one them. TACO didn’t do it.
