They’ll never stop the fair. It’s been going for years.
Why stop it? Gives the police and trading standards a convenient one stop shop to pick up a shit load of criminals at once.
How well do Romani people and Travellers get on? I’ve always wondered because they get lumped together but seem totally different from my limited knowledge.
Seems like the best possible thread to ask the question.
They’ll just turn up anyway, but they’ll be in a bad mood from now on.
If they can’t get the Grand National for animal cruelty (And I don’t think that they should) then they certainly won’t be able to get Appleby Fair, especially considering a whole lot less horses die at the fair then at the Grand National.
Go to any market stall in the UK and you will find just as much illegal and counterfeit goods.
Why don’t these petitioners just say they don’t like travellers and be done with it?
