      Something, something symbolism.   Nah perfectly normal. Nothing to see here…

      The headlines a good one.  Encapsulates the whole thing.

      The deluded Sun King (bronzer number 4 available from Trump merch.com) signing away his country, while thinking himself supreme, in the ultimate symbol to the folly of kings.

      I mean does it really end the war? Or does it simply cease hostilities?

      A peace deal ends a war. A peace deal that both sides say they have made ‘an agreement to come together to write an agreement to end the war’.

      But a peace deal wasn’t what was signed.

      The irony of signing a peace treaty in Versailles of all places is pretty striking. One can only wonder how long it’ll last.
