      The tech moguls living in California can make their voices be heard the same way as all other CA residents: at the ballot box, casting 1 vote each.

      Look at the amount of money they’re willing to spend fighting this tax, and then realize that’s only the case because they would be forced to pay so much more in taxes in a fair and just society.

      Let’s take the steps to make the nightmare of billionaires a reality.

      I think the main issue is that the tax is on unrealized gains/losses. Value of assets can fluctuate greatly in a short amount of time. Im glad this law is only on billionaires

      What the fuck is wrong with people. If you have a billion dollars you don’t need anymore money. Someone smarter than me can do the math, but at least at a minimum three generations can live lavishly. Isn’t that good enough?

      Awww. Are the rich pouting like children? There is no reason for any of them to not pay their fair share of taxes used to fund services they use just like the rest of us. In some ways, use even more of those said services.

      I wanna know why it’s only 1 time? These people should be taxed 80-90% over, lets say, 10 million dollars. There is no need for any citizen of this country to be making more than that, other than to hoard wealth and unfairly influence the power structures of this nation. I’m sick of this shit.
