Submission statement: Israelis are very unhappy with this deal. JD Vance gives a warning that the US is Israel’s “only ally left in the world”. Plus, Israel has not agreed to this deal.

If that’s the case, couldn’t Israel easily switch to alliances with China, India, and Russia? I mean we may hate them for the warmongering, but I doubt others would care.
Any ideas?

He sounds like an abusive husband trying to gaslight and isolate his spouse.

Look, I’m critical of this entire Iran debacle.
But JD is right. If the US is going to put up with Israel’s bullshit, they can do the same.
The US has stood by Israel for, what, 60 or 70 years now? And the US is the only country that is really supporting Israel today. If they want to put their tail between their legs and cut their losses with Iran, Israel has no say.

I wouldn’t be too pushy with Israel if I were JD or the orange turd.

I mean Vance isn’t wrong and thats coming from someone that hates this MOU, hates this administration and is generally pro Israel.
If the US abandoned Israel then Israel would be in trouble. Israel would’ve never attacked Iran without US support last year. The Israeli Air Force is essentially composed of all American aircraft. Israel also relies on the US for bombs and missiles. Economically the US is Israels biggest trade partner. The US could easily put pressure on the Israeli economy. There’s hundreds of thousands of Israelis with US citizenship. The US can make it very difficult for Israeli Americans to move back and forth between both nations. All of this puts pressure on Israel to remain in the US’s favor. Israel is becoming increasingly unpopular with US citizens. There will come a day that AIPAC money isn’t going to keep US politicians from completely turning on Israel if it continues down this path.
There’s also no other nation that could/would replace the US. China has no interest in getting embroiled in Middle East conflicts. China wants its oil and that’s it. If Russia couldn’t save Assad in Syria then it can’t really offer Israel much. European nations are increasingly very anti Israel. Yes, they still buy weapons from Israel but how much longer is the real question.

A narrative I’m sure the partisan base of the Republican party will very much enjoy.
They have started to become vocal about US joint aggression with israel.

the claim is obviously untrue. There’s Germany for one.

Who gives the slightest care in the world what Israel thinks. Their decisions have bought no benefit to the world or to their public image.
The global economy is at risk of a deep recession and Bibi cares about himself and fueling his war aims. Enough.
