>German Prosecutor General Jens Rommel has filed official charges against Kuznietsov, marking the first time a suspect in the Nord Stream bombing has been charged, Tagesschau reported. He is being charged with attacks on civilian energy infrastructure, a war crime under international law.
>According to German officials, Kuznietsov incriminated himself in phone calls with friends and acquaintances. Investigators also say they found evidence linking him to the sabotage operation on his cell phone.

*entire NATO and EU inspecting its fingernails and looking the other way for a second* xD
Freunde, I’m 100% for very close cooperation and friendship, you’re absolutely alone with this one though.

But I was told it was the CIA?

Their sabotage helped the Germans claim insurance for a pipeline they’re geopolitically unable to use.

Nord Stream -> a German – Russian collab between Merkel and Putin. We should be thanking Ukraine not charge them with crimes!

Tbf, what was done is a crime and Germany has rights to prosecute them.
However it just shows how misplaced priorities there while whole process has nothing to do with justice.
Russian officials publicly threatened Germany with being turned into nuclear ash, Russian officials currently threaten Germany and EU with war.
How about investigating and prosecuting all officials who are working and worked with Russia against German interests, starting with their former chancellor Merkel?! Oh well, it seems we can’t do that.
Because it’s much easier to prosecute nationals of the state that highly depends on Germany than opposing country with nuclear weapons(Russia) and own people linked to it. Just reminder if not for Ukraine most of EU would still tremble before Russian might. Only because myth about Russian might was destroyed many EU countries took stronger stance against Russia.

Europe should be awarding the factual saboteurs medals.
