Clever work with the headline, but being gay had nothing to do with getting killed.

Medrano Quezada, known for his singing career and for running a gay bar, was accused in 2022 of embezzling public funds while serving as president of the Board of Trustees of the National Fair of Zacatecas in 2019. A complaint filed by the Zacatecas State Public Administration Secretariat alleged he embezzled more than 60 million pesos (about 3.4 million dollars). He then did not appear at a required hearing, which is why a warrant was issued for his arrest.
