My family and I recently searched for a property, and I found the process surprisingly difficult. Platforms like List.am offer plenty of listings, but it’s hard to understand what living in a specific area would actually be like—or whether an asking price reflects the property’s real value.
I’m exploring an idea for a service that helps people research a property and its neighborhood before making a decision.
If I’m missing something and there is such project — would like to check, explore and use it 🙂
For example, alongside listings it could show:
- Nearby schools and kindergartens, including available ratings/reviews
- Hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies
- Average price per square meter in the area or sub-area, so buyers can better judge whether a property is fairly priced
- Public transport access and commute options
- Air quality, noise, green spaces, and other environmental factors
- Safety, utilities, internet availability, parking, supermarkets, and other useful local details
The goal is not to replace listing platforms, but to make property decisions more informed—something closer to Zillow, but adapted for Armenia.
Would this be useful to you? If yes, what information would matter most when choosing a home to buy, rent, or investment property? And what do you find frustrating about the current search process?
Looking for feedback: would you use a “Zillow for Armenia”?

I definitely would be interested in a ‘Zillow for Armenia’ app. List AM is crowded. It doesn’t have that user friendly interface, and is not superfluous. It jumps.
I’m working on getting my Armenian citizenship and looking to buy a home in Armenia. List.am is something to endure.
I heavily dislike list am. The interface is also not very user friendly. If we had a zillow equivalent, it would save everyone so much time and annoyance.
