Amy Shark is coming in to tell us all she says hi.
But also performing her new album and doing a signing I believe. I dig it.

The whole city is busy – we’re a quiet street in the burbs and I’m left waiting for traffic to drive by today 🤣

Depends who you ask i guess? Business owners and commercial landlords would argue the place has no people and WFH is killing the city due to no one coming in to do their thing.
If you’re one of the people stuck in a queue waiting to place your order for a coffee and are see hoards of people milling about then you will feel its being overrun.

Greater Brisbane gains over 45,000 new residents from migration each year, driven by international arrivals and interstate movers. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics data for the 2024–25 period, net migration added a total of 45,011 people to the greater metropolitan area.
