COVID-19 was a new version spreading very quickly on a global scale. The entire would took measures to limit the spread as much as possible until more could be understood about it. Nothing sinister was done to keep people home. What is this even about? Other countries had lock down policies in place as well. I was in Peru during covid and their measures were even more extreme but people just did what they had to do. They didn’t scream about conspiracy theories.

Never forget that Trump gutted the CDC infectious disease team that had been positioned in China PRIOR to the Covid outbreak. They had been located in China to monitor any new infectious diseases that may spring up in China. But as it was an Obama initiative. Trump killed it.
