Really everything is an island. The entire population of earth lives on land surrounded by water. What is an island? Land surrounded by water. You can have land surrounded by water surrounded by land surrounded by water and it is still an island.
Example: you go to Hawaii, established island. On that island is a lake and on that lake is a land mass with a home. Island within an island, ergo, everything is an island. Islandception.

You know it sorta aggravates me that the map is showing major cities but is ignoring yonkers which has more people living in it than every other city minus nyc and buffallo

I bet Rhode Island is the only other state even close to 50% but I’m curious where Alaska, Florida, Washington, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Maine, etc. rank relative to each other. Or what the population of lake/river islands is for totally inland states.
