Power out at the station and up Leeds St. A little dangerous (traffic lights are out) but otherwise a very cool, pretty vibe in the rain tonight. Fun to think about how 30 years ago in an outage it would’ve been even darker- now, everyone had their phone flashlights to pull out.
PS: “the sky is falling” used as a flair because nothing else suited. I love Footscray, a little traffic peril builds character.

Hey we posted at the same time about it lmao.
It nearly gave me a heart attack. I wasn’t wanting to navigate that station in pitch black and worse if the trains were suspended because of it.
Footscray station is scary at the best of times. Turns out it’s even scarier in the dark. Who knew?

I was just catching the bus out when the power blew. So bright I thought it was lightning, there were two electrical explosions over the station. Lucky there was no fire and no injuries.
Legitimately thought the first image in the tunnel was from Metro 2033 or something.
