I‘m very amateurish but thought I’d give it a try.
Got home just in time to charge up the old DSLR and rush out to a good spot.
Stacked 2 ND filters which some people online say should be enough, some say will still damage the sensor.
Haven’t noticed any damage so far but given I haven’t used the camera in years wouldn’t even be the end of the world.
Anyone got some more professional looking shots?

If you used a DSLR I would be more concerned or your eyes than the sensor. You literally looked at the sun through a mirror
