Nah, call it what it is – the US trying to make us a vassal state by adding last-minute requirements to control what trade deals Canada is allowed to make with other nations.
I’d like to see Canadians abandon American leagues that only have a couple of token Canadian teams. We should watch our own leagues. We should create new ones if needed.

I’m not a fan of booing, but I understand the sentiment. I’m not sure many American know / care / understand just how important we are and how much this betrayal mattes to us.

IMHO, booing a national anthem – anyone’s national anthem – is very childish.
I mean, every time I hear the national anthem or am called upon to say the pledge of allegiance I want to boo as well. The pledge especially; “with liberty and justice for all”? Come the fuck on.
