The communications director of Fidesz wrote to Népszava: The recent initiative of Tibor Navracsics and Orsolya Ferencz does not affect the work of Fidesz in the slightest. According to him, the internal questionnaire about the state of the party is only interesting from a “tabloid point of view”.

A party split is out of the question. Fidesz is completely unified and in excellent condition, Bertalan Havasi told Népszava. According to the party’s communications director, the recent initiative of Tibor Navracsics and Orsolya Ferencz – the Civil Democrats – is not a precursor to an upcoming break. “Tibor Navracsics and Orsolya Ferencz are great members of Fidesz, who do a fantastic job in the party and share 100 percent of our successes and responsibility,” said Bertalan Havasi when contacted by our newspaper.
