Immediate change. The incoming President could restore relationships with allies, lower prices instantly on lots of common items, and increase corporate profits with a quick signature.
We moved from USA to Canada this year and shopping without tariffs is eye opening, so much stuff is WAY cheaper in Canada
I think the Republicans will sink the ship. So if the Republicans win again it goes on.
The Dems may end the idea if we don’t sign a bad deal. They’ll keep any deal that favors the US over any other country.
New normal. Joe Biden kept the last round of tariffs.
Even if the new president is a Democrat, there are a bunch of labour friendly tariffs in place they won’t be able to justify dropping. It’s hard to be absolutely working class and absolutely free market.
I don’t think they’re tenable. There is literally no sector of the economy that benefits on either side of the border
I think the supreme court will decide that tariffs cannot be renoved with executive order.
Removing the tariffs will do the rounds in both houses for several years with no real results.
Definitely remove tariffs from natural resources or how about both countries honour their signed trade agreements.
Democrats can’t even get a pedophile out of office and release the epstein files. Nothing will change even if you put AOC, Obama or Bernie in their prime as the new president.
The US is compromised and has been since the tech boom. The lobbying has gone to a level never seen before.
