This is the council whose chief exec was arrested for drunk driving.
And the same council which botched the Streatham LTN so badly that even Sadiq Khan, not exactly a petrolhead, had to admit that it wasn’t working and it was delaying buses.

There needs to be a new law whereby some non-disclosure agreements are not allowed. Especially where someone leaves after alleging another person’s harassment.

The NDAs are just the cherry on the cake of this scandal. If this builds and the BBC keep investigating it could be as big as the post office.
Lambeth have repeatedly tried to charge me for work that hasn’t been done and/or massively overcharge me for work that is done at a poor quality. They are both totally incompetent and probably corrupt.
There must be literally thousands of Lambeth residents who don’t have the time/energy to fight these fraudulent charges and who end up being bullied into paying.

Mental.
A local council making people sign NDAs like they were fucking Elon Musk.
The residents who signed the nondisclosure agreements cannot discuss whatever is listed in those contracts.
However – this is a contract with the council.
Wouldn’t we still be able to request information under a freedom of information act request?
What the fuck is the point of an NDA with a governmental body?

This council also fines its residents for almost anything by outsourcing to private companies who don’t follow the rules! Have seen so many bad things about Lambeth.

A lot of dodgy deals with developers and utility companies as well in Lambeth. Terrible council.

Do we think Labour will bother investigating one of their own councils when they get in?

Is it not the people’s power to bind their council, not *vice versa*?
