Elon Musk is sowing “deliberate division” via his social media platform X that will be catastrophic unless regulated, the mother of one of the 14 confirmed children fathered by the world’s richest man has warned

    1. In Musk, a new documentary by veteran film-maker Alex Gibney, former MAGA influencer Ashley St Clair says Musk told her in a text message he wanted to have a child with her because he needed to have “a legion of children before the civil war.”

Asked at the documentary’s Venice film festival premiere whether her ex-partner was just scared of a civil war or actively trying to stoke one, St Clair said:

      >Whatever it is, what he’s doing with this platform on X cannot be ignored, because he is stoking flames that don’t exist in the real world.

      >He is creating something that is causing real world effects with all of these inputs on X,

said the former Trump supporter, who also said she now regrets her former political activism.

      >I do believe that he is causing deliberate division that may be catastrophic if it’s not regulated or tamed, or if we don’t do our part in putting it down.

    2. I don’t really have any flowers for her. Best I can tell she relentlessly reply guyd Elon, shacked up with him and has been chasing a bag ever since the kiddo popped.

Its easy to grab power and more money when the population is pointing fingers at each other.

      Money mostly flows up.

Citizens wants/needs are about 85% the same. They
      pick on the lightening rods.

    4. The political pundit class has been sowing deliberate division on psychological warfare level of scale for at least the last three decades. We decided to normalize these tactics and speaking styles and now everyone embraces it.

    5. She is very anti musk. What she says can or may be true. But it isn’t said with a care truth. But rather some bias against musk.

Maybe counter Elon’s opinions and those he amplifies, instead of trying to shut everything down?

Oh, so NOW Twitter should be regulated? Where is the “buh muh private cumpany” people now who defended it when it was a lefty cesspool as opposed to the current righty cesspool?

    8. Hmm. An ex-wife talking shit about her ex-husband, talking about him “sowing division”. The ironing is delicious. I’m sure she didn’t mind his “dangerous influence” when she was married to him.

This guy is like if Immortan Joe had worse politics and somehow also a weirder more fucked up body.

    10. That’s quite literally the intended purpose of every form of social media at this point in time

    11. I’m not saying this for any political reason, but I thought I might state the obvious.

I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs, I’m not violent, I work hard, I’m financially responsible, I’m loving and faithful to my wife, and I have a pretty great sense of humor. I think I’m a fairly good guy, and I’ve had lots of people say the same thing about me.

Of course, none of those people are my ex-girlfriends. Those ladies will tell you a very different story. To them, I am Satan incarnate here to wreak havoc upon the earth.

I’m just saying you might want to consider the source. I’m not saying she’s lying, I’m just saying she has every reason to lie.

Free speech is divisive by its very nature but must be protected to preserve liberty. No one has the right to not be offended.

    13. She wanted a baby from Elon so that’d she would be financially secure. Creating a life just to get a meal ticket.

Why are we listening to anything she says?

    14. It’s not just X, it’s all of social media. Idk what the play is, here. Any time you go on Instagram, x, Facebook, etc it’s just all ragebait posts. All set to play us against each other. It’s just negative. I’m trying to stay off most of it now.

Right or wrong: her opinion might actually mean something if she wasn’t fathering children with him for a lump sum payment. Hard to take her seriously.

    16. Every social media platform is doing this. Reddit’s purpose seems to be this. It’s the internet and what we’ve turned it into, so be it.

    17. Ban Facebook

      Ban X

All they are used for is propaganda and misinformation at this point.

Also get rid of Fox news

    18. As opposed to literally every other social media platform not trying to divide us? Get off all social media, touch grass, go talk to someone in person and you’ll be a lot happier.

    19. I loathe Elon Musk and want nothing to do with Twitter/X. But I’m much more concerned about regulating speech platforms than any division that gets sown on them.

    20. Yeah no shit. That has been obvious to anyone paying attention for decades. You dont get to pop out this beast’s child, make off with the alimony check, and then claim to be morally superior.

Let’s not pretend she suddenly grew a consiounce one day. Just soulless elites backstabbing each other like always.

    21. How do people not see this???

I knew as a 7 year old that if my siblings fought each other, it was good for me. The more they fought, the more I got. They get punished with extra chores, means less for me. They get punished with no TV/console time, I got to play whatever I wanted.

Fortunately I’m not a sociopath and don’t make this happen on purpose as an adult. Or unfortunately maybe? I could be so rich if I were just a sociopathic asshole. Oh wait, that sounds terrible, I’m actually happy…

As bad as Twitter can be, Reddit is 1000x worse. The Astro turfing and bot network is so out of control here. At least on Twitter you can see the origin of accounts and they regularly ban large sums of bots. Twitter is extremely toxic and you see very extreme views there, but Reddit is such an echo chamber with people regurgitating what bots tell them to repeat that I think it’s magnitudes worse.

Social media is the most powerful force in the world rn, and the oligarchs control it to control us.

    24. This is true of every social media platform. They all become a mix of ad factories, AI slop, deliberate misinformation, and your grandma liking her friend’s colonoscopy report that they posted online for some reason.

    25. petewondrstone on

No offense, but I’m not listening to any person that got impregnated by this dude just shut the f up. Everybody wants to take the ball high ground once they get the bag.

    26. buttscratcher3k on

Tbh they need a better source than someone who has massive incentive to damage his reputation

This person already made vague claims before but never produced any evidence or showed any credibility beyond beyond a former partner fighting for custody of her kid

    27. Yes no shit, the difference is I didn’t let him cum in me, so not exactly an opinion I trust or want to amplify.

    28. Goonsquad_2020 on

Ugh. Have we learned nothing? Do we want to go back to government backed censors to curtail the “division”? Love him or hate him, but Elon buying twitter saved free speech in this country. For now.

    29. Why on earth does anyone even use this platform? It’s pretty clear that you getting manipulated if you use it.
