      When head of the Bank of England Carney was a regular feature in Royal Boxes at various events. We want Carney to use every relationship we have.

      We will see what comes in a month or two. Prince Harry as our designated Royal as part of a slow return to being a ‘public’ Royal? Royals as part of trade missions? Who knows.

      Queen Victoria’s wish was that her many children would eventually bring long lasting peace to war-torn and divided Europe. She revered her first cousin, German Prince Albert, with whom she bore nine children. Odd to consider the whole of Europe decisively united as a single governing entity. But it could happen under Carney.
