      Hopefully, this doesn’t mean the supermarkets will raise the prices to the non loyalty card price?

      I could have sworn this was a thing for ages when the minimum pricing came in. I’m rarely in Tesco, but Dunnes and SuperValu scrapped being able to use vouchers for alcohol.

      Surprised tesco’s got away with this for so long. Be nice if they got dinged for the club card prices vs shelf prices as well

      This not already a thing no? At least in my experience, I’ve never seen ‘knocked down’ alcohol prices (for Ireland anyway, rip off) for having a loyalty card.

      That and other stuff like, I’m fairly sure you can’t use a One4All gift card on alcohol?

      Side rant: Was over in Spain recently and getting 1L bottles of red wine for €2.69, that were actually decent. We get absolutely RINSED on alcohol prices.

      The ‘discounts’ are fake anyway. If something has been on discount for a year then it’s not actually a discount, it’s just the price with dressing.

      Loyalty cards is such a pile of shite. Just make the price the lowest and that will get more people to come to your shop.
