Honestly this is elder abuse and pretty horrible all around. But at the same time I hope he is scared and confused every minute of the rest of his vegetative life, he deserves it for what he has done to the people of this country

All of the senators and pundits (such as Scott Jennings) who lied about “talking to Mitch for 20 minutes” a few months ago should never be believed again. It should be brought up every time they’re interviewed, or if they have to testify under oath for some reason.
I rest easy knowing that this man is going all the way to his grave being the exact same pos he’s been the entire time. I have no sympathy for him because I believe he wouldn’t have it any other way. People are claiming it’s elder abuse, but they’re ignoring that this man’s life mission has been to further the Republican cause to the fullest extent he possibly can. He has been a terrible public servant who has shamelessly tarnished the instruments of democracy. He will literally go down dying doing what he loved. I do not for one moment doubt that he is relishing every moment of this, with nothing better to do.
Severe stroke, he probably can’t use a toilet without help and yet he’s one of the most powerful 100 people in the country currently.

As much as I hate that his seat is being locked up by a barely conscious asshole (thereby subverting democracy), I do take a bit of solace in the fact that he’s likely suffering. Confused and scared, barely able to piece a sentence together or even really enjoy life. It’s far less than what he deserves for the suffering he’s enabled, but it’s better than nothing.
Is it elder abuse? Probably. But I also see it as karmic justice. The turtle who blocked progress is now slowed down and blocked from being able to function normally.

He may be one of, if not the most, vile human beings but even I think they should just let him go away and die with some dignity. He has no idea where he is, what he’s doing, or really anything at all. I’d be surprised if his brain is more than a pile of mashed potatoes at this point. I think we should probably charge the heads of the GOP with elder abuse because this is so wrong.
