It came into force in Singapore on Wednesday a new regulation which aims to create a more pleasant environment for travelers on public buses: among other things, it provides that anyone who disturbs other passengers by listening to music at high volume without using headphones can receive a fine of up to the equivalent of 340 euros.
The same fine is expected for those who put their feet on the seats, throw rubbish on the ground or eat or drink on board the bus. For more serious behaviour, such as endangering other passengers in stations or dirtying any part of a bus or station, a maximum fine of 3,400 euros has been introduced.
According to the Singapore Public Transport Company, public transport is a shared space and every person must make an effort to ensure a pleasant travel environment.

Come disse qualcuno molto tempo fa: *”Disneyland with the death penalty”*.
