The current US administration seems more and more in the pocket of the Russians. Maybe that’s the most successful intelligence opertion in history, i don’t know, but how do you explain not only the Russia friendly public stance, but the fact that almost every single policy action (like the proposed diesel export ban, the Canada trade war, the burning of bridges with Europe, the Gulf, etc.) have and will only benefit Russia. And i mean only. There’s nothing in it for the US at all.

I do not understand Trump’s weird obsession with Putin. Russia is helping Iran, is selling oil to China, basically helping a lot of nations Trump is against.

I am not even sure why any republicans or trumps advisors think they will be able to reach a deal with him. Putin broke the last deal he negotiated on Ukraine and so many others. It is not like Russia is going to recover from losing so many people or have an economic rebound after the war is over.
