    1. I mean, it’s a photo of the ground staff rolling out red carpets. This happens for all major state visits, and they check to make sure there aren’t tripping hazards that could lead to a really embarrassing photo for the VIP visitor.

edit: There are better images to post about this state visit, like every awkward photo of trump saluting and making odd facial expressions all covered up in his overcoat and gloves on such a nice day. Trump being at the airport to greet Xi definitely is worth questioning

    2. > By tradition, U.S. presidents do not greet arriving foreign leaders at the airport. They typically wait at the White House.

Trump bowing and scraping before dictators, running to the airport to meet and fawn over his dictator hero like a little bitch.

Now consider how congressional Republican/reich-wing media heads would have exploded if Biden or Obama had violated tradition this way to meet a murderous dictator at the airport.

    3. Photo MAGA of the year is US military on its knees for Xi Jinping while Trump wears overcoat and gloves in 63 degree weather to hide his bruised concealer-caked hands. Melania at the stairs, Xi’s wife watching troops crawl. This is what America First looks like ,America on its knees first.

    4. My first thought was “did somebody lose a contact lens? Gotta agree with the person who pointed out that super awkward salute from Trump.

    5. Are they looking for a crack rock? The only time I’ve ever seen someone look at the ground with such visual inspection is when drugs are involved.

    6. “Check again for any cracks guys, we don’t want our glorious leader complaining about carpet vandalism.”

    7. Isn’t this literally communism coming to america? Something he just said wasnt going to happen at the UN just days ago.

    8. Those are smart fellers, not fart smellers.

They know the air goes up, so there’s no fart smell down there.

    9. Out military literally on their knees to appease a hostile foreign leader. How any service member supports this administration is beyond me.
