Like of course vote because your life depends on it because it very well might nowadays, but at the same time we have to be realistic and admit that the Democrats sweeping the midterms won’t be enough to fully stop the Trump regime’s reign of terror. He’s already “legislating” via executive order and ignoring court decisions, and I doubt that a Democratic Congress is really going to mark the end of fascism in America. It’s better than nothing, but it will require more resistance and protest than that to steer the nation away from its current trajectory.
