      We Canadians travel to Cuba. Life there is very hard, and so are the people. But they are remarkably resilient and happy. Many of them would like to normalize relations with the USA. It could be done easily in a diplomatic way – but no…the war mongers and right-wingers are stuck in the 1960s when Castro was the boogeyman.

      Maybe it’s because as a Canadian I have only been there as a tourist on resorts, but the Cuban people were all very sweet great folks. I don’t understand why the US needs to treat them this way.

      I’m sure this war will fix all our problems and help trump politically. The last one didn’t, but maybe this one will. Has Cuba done ANYTHING recently to antagonize anyone, or are we just truly bullying a small poor nation?

      He said “no new wars” until Zelensky told him that elections are held off if the country is at war. You should have seen his eyes light up when he heard that. After that, it was wars everywhere.
