This is actually a pretty clever move from Burnham’s gov. Everyone is saying they should be more outspoken about the Blackshirts and balaclavas but they’re staying pretty muted on getting into direct shouting matches about these emotionally charged singular events and actually tackling the root of the problem, and putting Farage in the position of having to defend his paymasters in the process.
