This is after Milei applied every single Neocon/Libertarian policy in the book: completely cut infrastructure/public works spending, slashed the education budget to unsustainable levels, slashed the public health budget, removed almost all aid to the disabled and pensioners, condoned the tax debts of corporations and gave insane benefits to the richest segment of the population, removed taxes for luxury vehicles and goods while simultaneously removing subsidies for heating in cold areas, removed most worker protection rights and is allowing business to pay their workers with goods instead of money, etc.
This is why they talk so much about the Falklands lol

I haven’t really kept up with Argentina since a ton of people on Reddit were praising him when he got elected as the sure fire person to fix the country. Then a few months later I saw people saying how media doesn’t wanna talk about him cause he’s proving everyone wrong with his policies and Argentina was recovering.
But then I see stuff like this and I’m like where did all those people go? They SWORE it was gonna be better after saying it was already getting better so I’m missing tons of context and actual chunks of what’s been happening there
When conservatives talk about austerity, it’s only austerity for the poor of course.
