Does this mean people will be able to support Ukraine from the comfort of their bed?

There was a variation of the “Don’t look at her, look at me”-meme with Zelenskyj, fitting this context, sadly I can’t find it anymore…

I hadn’t thought about it but it’s surprising that porn was illegal.
I am still ignorant about Ukraine culture (though learning) and eastern European in general, but from some comments of Ukrainians, many seem very very religious. That is a small sample size that I have seen comments from and may not be representative
I’m curious what Ukrainians here have to say about it

One thing I do know, is Ukrainian content creators are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. So I hope this helps the war effort

Why was porn illegal in the first place?

The fact that porn is “illegal” in Ukraine while there is a huge thriving porn industry in Ukraine is another example of the effects of corruption. Force a gray market and then exploit it. Individual creators are already paying taxes on their revenue so hopefully this forces the studios to follow suit.

I’m ready to do my patriotic duty and support the war via generating popup ad revenue for Ukrainian content creators! 😉

Porn should be legal but regulated, and safe for all participants. When it’s banned there is a lot of crime around it, because the demand is still there. When you make it legal you can demand certain standards

If Ukraine really wants tax revenue they should consider legalized marijuana. States across the US makes hundreds of millions in tax revenue.

IMO the title is misleading.
It’s not like porn is legalized because it will help to generate more taxes.
Porn is legalized because it’s crazy that it was still a crime and people can get into jail just for sharing nudes. And as a side effect the legalization will help to generate more tax revenue. Which is handy to help with the war.

Some Americans are aware of the irony that porn is illegal in Ukraine. Not me. But some.

It’s also good for eliminating possible corruption surrounding Ukraines porn industry and gives more protection and legitimacy to those girls (and dudes). There’s a ton of Ukrainen camgirls/onlyfangirls.
