Sad that a Canadian company considering building a thing in Canada is news worthy.
Good news for our aerospace and defence industries, and great news further building our alliance with our friends in Sweden!!
This here is a product they have that offers a capability that the RCAF previously lacked. So yeah, it’s a decent buy.
Now there is one other SAAB product worth buying, and that is their jet trainer, which would fill the void left by the BAS Hawk. The RCAF and the Carney government should buy a bunch.
…. It’s already built in Canada? It’s a Bombardier airframe.
At least we aren’t giving our money to the smelly orange prick.
