A few days ago the guys from MessinAttiva have collected 436 kg of rubbish near this green oasis assiduously frequented by the Messina people. The voluntary association is not new to this type of initiative, in fact has organized other similar works in the past.
The city, and the whole world in general, needs more kids like them, but the smile sparked by reading this news immediately turns into a very bitter reflection.
These guys use their time to replace themselves free to absent institutions. If the kids hadn’t worked hard to clean our beaches, our hills and our city, no one would have done it. Despite all the taxes that every citizen pays into the coffers of the Municipalities.
I hope that these articles reach the attention of the various Mayors of Italy, and that instead of congratulating them and giving them a pat on the back, they feel enormous SHAME in front of the kids who managed to do for free and in a few hours the work that these overpaid administrations were not able to do.

Iniziativa lodevole, ma questi più che vergognarsi avranno festeggiato perché qualcuno gli ha risolto il problema.
Forse più che le istituzioni, si deve vergognare la gente del posto che butta la monnezza in giro.
La spazzatura, però, va scaricata davanti al municipio.

Sono stato di recente a Palermo, mai vista tanta spazzatura così nelle strade e nei luoghi pubblici. Allucinante. Da una parte c’è l’inciviltà delle persone e dall’altra l’incapacità gestionale dei vari enti/comuni/regione etc. zero enforcement, controlli etc.
Ma con tutti i forestali che la Sicilia ha assunto non potevano mandarne qualcuno a controllare e prevenire?
